After the End researchers Debora Diniz and Luciana Brito were behind the first case of its kind in Brazil, the case of Lidiane, emblematic of the failure to provide care to pregnant women during Covid.

Diniz coordinates a group at the University of Brasilia that carried out a qualitative study to understand why so many maternal deaths were occurring in Brazil.
